Top Travel Bloggers
Our blog is just a baby at the moment but Andrew and I wanted to start a list of inspirational and interesting travelers that we come across as we FINALLY make our journey into travel blogging!
Keep checking back here as we expand our list with fun and exciting travel addicts…
Everything-Everywhere.com – Gary Arndt – @EverywhereTrip
Gary is the ULTIMATE traveler with a story that resonates really strongly with Andrew & I as he’s a fellow internet biz owner! Gary decided in 2007 to travel the world and he’s been doing just that ever since! Gary’s visited a RIDICULOUS number of cities, countries and continents – and he’s blogged every bit of it for you to live vicariously through him.
ThePlanetd.com – Dave Bouskill and Debra Corbeil – @ThePlanetd
Dave and Debra are known in travel blogging circles as “Canada’s Adventure Couple” and BOY have they earned that title! From climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to completing a 12,000 km journey from Cairo to Capetown ON A PUSH BIKE – these two have REALLY traveled and they share all their stories on their blog. Their journey is inspiring and it’s so special to see a couple living their life to the fullest in every way possible!
JillandStaceyDoTheRoo.com – Jill and Stacey – @JillandStacey
Jill and Stacey are two AWESOME Canadian ladies who we were lucky enough to meet whilst living in Toronto in 2009. These super fun ladies are currently traveling around Australia filming their very own web TV show that has episodes airing Monday-Friday every week on their website.
501places.com - Andy Jarosz – @501Places
Andy Jarosz simply had to be included on this list because he is a major travel inspiration of ours! He’s traveled to over 70 countries so far and has had the most crazy and exciting adventures! An avid storyteller, Andy’s tales include snippets from his travels to all sorts of place from the Middle East to the depths of South America, the shores of Malta right down under to Australia – he’s seen it ALL!
Intelligent Travel - Marilyn Res – @Marilyn_Res
Marilyn Res has what many would call the ULTIMATE in “dream jobs” – she is the chief researcher of the amazing travel magazine the “National Geographic Traveler”. Marilyn blogs on the National Geographic travel blog, “Intelligent Travel,” where her (and her team) showcase everything that is unique and beautiful in our world whilst raising awareness about sustainable travel! I L-O-V-E this blog and am absolutely fascinated about Marilyn’s career and experiences!
AlmostFearless.com – Christine Gilbert – @AlmostFearless
Christine Gilbert is a kick a** travel blogger – there’s no other way to put it! Previously a manager in a huge Fortune 500 company, Christine quit the corporate world to become a freelance travel writer and has never looked back! From the shores of Mexico to the mountains in Canada – Christine takes you on a delicious journey with each of her pieces!
TravelingGreener.com – Sonya – @TravelingGreen
The team at TravelingGreener.com run a fantastic blog centered around eco-friendly travel. At TravelingGreener.com you’ll read fantastic stories about fun, environmentally friendly activities you can do in unique and exciting places around the globe!
LegalNomads.blogspot.com – Jodi – @LegalNomads
We had the privilege of meeting Jodi in Canada last year and we will be forever grateful that we did. This soft spoken, pint-sized traveling lady has traveled to some of the most remote, crazy, far-out places that the world has to offer (and she’s not stopping yet!) From living with a local family in the heart of the Mongolian desert to climbing a mountain on every birthday, Jodi is our utmost travel inspiration. Her blog will entertain you for hours on end and if anyone can inspire you to escape the rat race and don a backpack for the next 5 years, it’ll be her!
PS If you think your blog deserves a mention on this list please don’t hesitate to @ reply us on Twitter or shoot us a comment! We love sharing amazing travel stories just as much as we love reading them!
