One strange thing we noticed in our first few weeks in Puerto Vallarta, is the strangely infrequent occurrence of English language bookstores, or English language books period. To our surprise, even at uber commercial chain marts like Mega and Walmart, the book section is solely titles in Spanish. Even the ritzy Liverpool mall in downtown PV, built solely for tourists strolling across from their cruise boats, do you think you can find books in English? No hay nada!
